5 Products I've Been Loving: August

A quick round-up of the 5 products I've been really enjoying over the Summer. Full video over on my IGTV.

1. Kalmar CALM Soothing Body Cream £50

I am completely in love with this product and addicted to the fragrance! This body cream is rich, but soaks in so quickly you can feel your skin literally drinking it. Often with the slightly richer body lotions you have to wait a while for it to soak in before dressing - but this one is literally absorbed in seconds.

2. Ultra Violette Queen Screen Luminising Sun Serum SPF50. £36

This product has been such a 'find' this summer. It is amazing under make-up as a primer and but also so easy to wear every day as a sun screen. This 'glow booking' serum literally melts into skin and it smells incredilbe of Rose, and is packed full of goodness.

It contains antioxidant rich Kakadu plum which provideds Vit C to boost radiance and the broad spectrum SPF protects from UVA and UVB rays. It also contains Dragosine which protects from damaging blue light.

3. John Masters Organics Shampoo £24 & Conditioner £25 for Dry Hair & Hair Milk £29

I was very grateful to be sent these products to try from John Masters Organics as I had heard about the brand for some time now. They are an absolute delight to use. If, like me, you are very tuned in to your the sense of smell, you will love these products. Washing your hair becomes a 'spa-like' experience as they have a wonderful natural essential oils aroma.

The shampoo and conditioner seem really good. If I'm really honest, nothing reduces my fly away frizz better than Maria Nila, but my hair is definitely more nourished and the smell is Devine. I love the Hair Milk too, which you can apply to wet or dry hair as a leave in styler and this is a really great finishing product for very dry hair. It contains Rose Water and Apricot Kernal Oil which ]smells as incredible as the rest of the range.

4. Ilapothecary Beat the Blues Room Spray £29

This brand is a new discovery for me, having met the founder over zoom last month. What an absolutely beautiful brand. They are 100% natural products that have devised with a purpose. They aim to deal with the urban stressors we come across using the power of plants and homeopathic ingredients - with a minimal amount of water added!

I love a room spray, particularly if I'm feeling tired and sluggish. This one smells very light and floral and is gives a real boost to the room! This Includes Clary Sage (nature’s happiness oil) with Rose Geranium good for peace and harmony – tuberose and petitgrain. Cruelty free. It's also apparently Demi Moor’s favourite room spray.

5. Modern Botany Multi-Tasking Essential Oil £35

I'm obsessed with this brand's deodorant and it has taken me a while to get round to trying this oil.

I'm a huge fan of facial oils and I don't think you can go far wrong with a 100% natural oil. This one is fabulous..and particularly good for sensitive skins as it has healing and soothing properties. It can also be used on both hair and body and nails so completely multi-tasking. It is Healing, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial so soothe sensitive skin and has Flax oil which helps blemishes and scarring, Chamomile and Arnica both soothing and healing.
