Who am I anyway? 

Hi I'm Genevieve and I'm currently 59.  

 

Turning 50 really didn't feel as scary as I thought it would.  It was early days for instagram, and I decided to start a visual platform to share my journey and inspire other women not to be terrified of the big 50 and that yes, they can still wear glitter and red lips if they want to!  This is Fifty was born.   The aim is to inspire fun and confidence in your fifties, while also tackling some of the tougher challenges with honesty, positivity and a touch of humour where possible.  Focusing primarily on beauty and wellbeing with a little fashion and style thrown in - I am also very comfortable sharing my thoughts on menopause and HRT.  

 

In other news, I  work as a freelance PR Consultant within the beauty and wellbeing industry. I've been married for 30 years and have a 25 year old son who has finally fled the nest.  We also fulfilled a lifelong dream 5 years ago of having a home by the sea, with a small home on the Greek island of Paros which has been life-changing in so many ways.

In 2021 I decided to capitalise on all the incredible experts I have known, many of whom I can count as friends, and launched The Midlife Beauty Insider.  This is a regular slot of Instagram Live interviews and ultimately ITVG series -where my audience can ask the questions they want to know!
